Dress Up Day 4 - Thursday 27 May

With Christy holding the lead (but Ash catching up fast!) the competition is getting pretty tense here at Dorothy Perkins HQ. Could today be the day that Ash pulls ahead? Let's see what they've done with today's Woodland Trust t-shirt - the mint green butterfly top:

 

Ash:

It's a bit chilly in London today so I've popped my jeans on with the tunic. To try and tempt the sun to come out I've gone for a festival vibe, which I think works really well with the print of the top, adding a macrame waistcoat and t-bar wedges.

Christy:

I'm meeting a guy after work so I'm dressed to impress in a rock chick look. I've done this by adding denim-look jeggings and chunky accessories: a chain necklace, a vintage belt and some Topshop biker boots. Wish me luck!

Both girls have worn the top with denim, with Ash going for a daytime look, and Christy dressed for evening. Which works better - you decide! x

I'm going for Ash's look today, as I really like the shape that the waistcoat/layering creates with the jeans & wedges. I think the colours complement each other really well, whereas the black shoes & belt create a little harsher contrast in Christy's outfit.

I prefer christy's look. It's more well thought out with accessories setting off the look perfectly. The line is good and the belt nips the waist in, which is very flattering and ideal mix of smart/casual - great for a date. Good luck
