This weekend Isle of Wight officially kicked off the 2010 festival season for us here at Dorothy Perkins HQ. We were in and amongst the crowds spotting the most stylish gals going.
Here's yours truly in the essential festival footwear attire for the first sightly boggy day - Hunter Wellies of course! Along with a vintage military jacket, H&M peace sign t-shirt dress, Mawi jewellery, a vintage bowler hat and the DP studded cross body suede bag.
For the second day I rocked a true classic 'the Kate Moss for Topshop sundress' with a vintage boater, River Island boots with grey socks, and my style saviour of the weekend - the studded DP bag.
But enough about me .... what was everyone else wearing I hear you cry? Well the fash pack were out in true force, proving that trends and tents really do go together. Here the lovely gals Louise and Laura from ASOS and Isha from Office show us how to make wellies really work - from denim shorts to denim playsuits, the looks are anything but 'carry on camping'.
And our fabulous DP fans were strutting their stuff too, from this seasons jumpsuits and maxi dresses, to more specifically the tribal print vest, rocked by Amy, 22 from Southampton or the shell print top (still available in black and white), as modeled by Lorna 34, from South London, you did us very proud.
And to end, my personal favourite look of the entire weekend (Paloma Faith aside) is from Hannah Freeman of French Kiss Vintage. Hannah teamed her vintage (well of course) floral print jumpsuit with battered leather bomber and the pies del la resistance.... the Chanel bumbag... ah we owe a lot to the early 90s.
So who gets your festival fashion vote? And let us know if you were at the festival too! Answers on a slightly muddy postcard please (or you could always use the comments box below...).
