Closer Holiday Dress Up Challenge: Day 4 - Dinner

Sunday is the last day of the Closer girls' style weekender! But they're going to make the most of their final night with a meal out on the town.

At this point in the holiday, they've used almost everything in their suitcase, so how will they come up with something new and interesting? Let's take a look.

Kat's been saving this amazing sequin capelet for a special occassion! We love the colour combination of this and the top, with the chocolate taffeta shorts.

Daniela

 
Daniela looks red hot in coordinating ankle length jeans and platform sandals. The gold top adds glamour for her last hoiday night.

Closer Holiday Dress Up Challenge: Day 3 - Clubbing

It's Saturday, so the Closer girls are going clubbing! We all know what it's like trying to create a stylish going out look from just the pieces in your suitcase when your away, so let's take a look at how they experts do it.

Remember - they only have five key pieces each, plus accessories!

Kat's keeping it cool and casual, and taking her aladdin trousers straight from the beach to the bar. She's added these floral print platforms, and, by tying her coral top at the back, she's made a daytime tee a cool going out top.

Daniela

 
Like Kat, Daniela has chosen a leg-lengthening platform heel to transform her daytime shorts into an evening look. The gold, wet-look tee is perfect for holidays as it's a glamorous going out piece that works in many different outfits. But who's looking at the top when she's wearing those amazing statement earrings?

Closer Holiday Dress Up Challenge: Day 2 - Sightseeing

It's the second day of the Closer girls' weekend away! Today they're going sightseeing - let's see what they plan to wear.

Using the bag and sandals from Day 1, Kat looks ready for a day out exploring. Her bleached denim prom dress is the perfect choice for a sunny afternoon, and we love how she's swapped out the waist tie for this blue woven belt - a great way to get a new look from the same piece.

Daniela

 
Daniela's looking cute and casual in her stripey peter pan dress. A straw trilby and a pair of aviator sunglasses are a must for a holiday day trip, and the bright bag adds interest.

Closer Holiday Dress Up Challenge: Day 1 - Beach

It's Day 1 of their holiday and Kat and Daniela from Closer are off to the beach!

We're judging them on how practical the outfit is for a day of sun, sea and sand, and how well they've used their capsule wardrobe.

Remember - each girl has only five key items and a few holiday essentials to create their daily outfit!

Kat

 
Kat's wearing her diamond print aladdin trousers, for comfort and style at the beach, and she's added a practical crochet bag and sandals. She's styled her scarf into a turban to protect her hair from the elements, but can just as easily use it as a cover up in the midday sun.

Daniela

 
Daniela's colour-blocking in bright blue and green, and she's customised her shirt by knotting it at the waist. That hat's not only a stylish addition, but a practical choice for a sunny day.

The Dress Up Challenge is BACK - with Closer Magazine

For the Summer Style Weekender, we're sending the Closer girls on holiday! To show you how to have a stylish weekend away, we've challenged them to create a new outfit each day, for four different holiday scenarios.

But to make it harder, they can only use what will easily fit into their suitcase - a capsule wardrobe of just five key pieces from our current collection.

 
Kat and Daniela have each chosen one dress, two tops, a pair of shorts and a pair of trousers to take with them. From this they'll create four unique outfits - for a day at the beach, a night out clubbing, a day of sightseeing, and an evening meal.

Not only that, but we'll be asking you to vote on who's done best each day!

We want to challenge their accessorising skills too, so we've allowed them the bare minimum of holiday essentials - a bag, a pair of sandals, some heels, a bikini and a couple of pieces of jewelley - so they'll have to pack wisely.

Denim Dress Up Challenge - Day 5 - Wide Leg

Its the final day of our bloggers denim challenge and what a style filled 5 days it has been!

Today sees our fashionistas take on the wide leg jean, the polar opposite to the skinny jean which has become a staple in almost every girls wardrobe for the past decade...but will you be converted?...

Emily is jumping for joy in her final look....we would be too if we had her cool preppy style!

Super cool Jackie has embraced the 70's vibe of the wide leg jean but kept the look fresh and modern.... 

Alex is making us green with envy with this delicious jacket! Love the boho feel of her simple hair twists - must try.

 

Gem's pretty polka dot blouse ensures her final look is fabulously feminine...

 

Hello sailor! Laetitia has pulled of the nautical look perfectly, pairing her jeans with a timeless Breton stripe top...

Denim Dress Up Challenge - Day 4 - Colour

Today our denim dress up challenge is brightening up the dull weather with a welcome splash of colour!

For those of you who live in your trusty denims, the colour kick-flare is the perfect jean to ease you into spring...cue our super-stylish bloggers to show you how to wear them best!

Laetitia has taken the striking coral and gone for tonal styling with a nude blouse and tan bag..we are loving the quirky addition of the leopard pumps!

 

Looks like leopard is the print to pair with brights as Alex adds an animal tote to her preppy look...

 

Jackie's rock chick styling adds attitude, we love how simply rolling up the hem changes the shape so much....

 

 Emily's colour blocking is bang on trend for spring (coffee cup accesories are set to be big too!)

 

Gem has mixed things up a little by going for the mint option making it difficult for us to choose between the two...oh dear, guess we'll have to have both!

 

 

Denim Dress Up Challenge - Day 3 - Boyfit

We've reached the halfway point already in our Denim Dress Up Challenge, and today we're tackling a wardrobe staple - the boyfit jean.

The perfect casual jeans, these are cut loose and comfortable but not too baggy. They're a great choice for a relaxed day look, but also look fab with a dressier top - let's see which look our bloggers have gone for:

The girls all looked so good yesterday we thought the skinny jeans might have been too easy! So today we've got a more fashion forward challenge - skinny flares.

Flares have been off the fashion radar for the last few summers, but catwalk appearances at Givenchy and Roberto Cavalli have brought them back into the spotlight.

So it's the first day of the Denim Dress Up Challenge, and we though we'd ease the girls in with a fit we know works whatever your shape, height, style, personality... it's the Super Skinny.
