January blues? If the post-Christmas come-down has left you feeling a little deflated then look to nature to cheer things up. Despite wintry weather and dropping temperatures, you can still cheat that spring feeling by going green. Here's how we're doing it...
Invest in botanical prints: These pretty pumps feature a striking print and embellishment detailing - just the thing to refresh your style for the new season. Team them with a blush shirt and jeans for weekend chic.
Visit an indoor garden: For all the benefits of the great outdoors (without the wind and rain) there are loads of beautiful gardens across the country where you can enjoy the flora and fauna with a roof over your head. Grab a friend for a weekend walk or take the kids on a fun day out.
Eat your greens: If you're trying to get back in shape after winter excesses then filling up on lots of lovely vegetables is a must. We've been starting the day with courgette and raspberry smoothies in the office... it's a surprisingly tasty combination and sets us well on our way to five a day. From the instagram snap above, it looks like Lea Michele (of Glee fame) has the same idea.
Bring the outdoors in: Plants are proven to improve your mood. Whether it's a pretty flower pot for your desk or replacing a tried-looking houseplant, surround yourself with some greenery.
Try leafy shades: Olive, bright green and pops of lime are guaranteed to lift your look. We love this roomy tote bag for an instant workwear update.
